For years, I struggled with social isolation, severe depression, and crippling anxiety. Then I learned how to change my thinking patterns, set boundaries, and ask for help. I removed toxins from my diet, home, and relationships.

Today I lead a life filled with hope, meaning and joy. Even on those tough days, I have a purpose that keeps me moving forward into the Promise God gave me.

I appreciated this so much because it brought up a lot of emotions and let me know that I can feel this way and I can take the time for myself. Reminding me of the tools that can help me feel and "breathe" is definitely something I need to work on. Lori was amazing and sharing her personal experience made me really feel a connection. 

This hit home- big time. Quite often I allow myself to take on too much to handle, causing significant stress and disappointment in myself for feeling overwhelmed. One of the greatest difficulties in my life is saying no. I've had no time for self-care... but, have finally realized I need to find a way to work that in. It's a work in progress.
